Damn!

I feel a trip to the craft store coming on. In a big way. A BIG big way. I can imagine adding the phone number in addition to the jewels. Total fun and silliness.

(I won't though. I've got a box full of unused scrapbooking stuff for cat adoption books gathering dust as it is).

Via Mind of Mog

And, oh sigh, looking for art for a banner for the top of this blog and found this. Don't fall in love before you check out the price.

I had a chainmail collar made for Claw. The guy who made it for her, Purp, normally charged $50 for the size collar I wanted, but because he was crashing on my couch, he charged me $20 (he did have to eat so I insisted on giving him some cash even though he just wanted to give it to me). After about a year, Claw lost the collar. That was the last time I spent more than $5 on a collar.

Nick loses collars so frequently I buy airline hose (plastic stuff used for fish tanks) and connectors, with laminated paper name tags. The connector pops loose if he gets hung up on something. Cheap, and the tubing is soft so it doesn't put a collar mark on his fur.

Chainmail. I would have liked to have seen that.

Those illustrations are sweet, but, yeah, not worth the $$$!

Happy to inspire. Gee, those pics are expensive. I'll just keep Photoshopping my kitties like I did Meowza in the header.

You could Photoshop one of your or my kitties too and use them if you wanted.

I'm waiting for my collars and will find out if the kitties will tolerate them.

Maybe sometime post a pic of those tubing collars... I'm not familiar with the materials, so I don't know what connectors etc. to look for. Sounds perfect for the guys here :)

Alas, I am not html savvy and don't have Photoshop. I have been watching the blogs of others with great envy.

You must post photos of those collars when they arrive.
