Spats over sleeping spots? Need more options?

It's always fun to open the email and find an idea from a fellow cat person. Hubcats is a great group that provides lots of hands-on ideas, and I may have to go pick up a few of these for my upstairs cats who like to hide in the closet, but have no beds in there.

In fact, these probably would be better in my cat runs than the plastic chairs I now have. Hmmmm....

Fabric is even better than berber fleece - sort of fake fur. Thicker and fluffier - and cheaper. Bins are the largest size, from The Container Store for about $8, each. Isabel is modeling. --Laura

Fabric-store goods are great for the price. It doesn't make sense to buy the cheap dollar-store fleece throws that pill up after a few washings, when you can go straight to the fabric store and for an extra dollar a yard, get to pick a neat pattern in fleece or "fur", buy it by the yard, cut it to the size you need, and it will wash countless times (since it is intended for clothing or blankets).

Thanks much, Laura. Send more!
