I was a 9/10 in college at 116 pounds. I now fluctuate between a 10 and a 12, and I weigh 30 pounds more. Yes, 30 pounds more. I should be a size 16. I should have size 16 waved in my face every morning when I pull on my pants. Companies that change the SIZE on clothing so that a size 8 is now a size ZERO are committing fraud.
Period.

It's so annoying. Sometimes I'm a 16-18 and other times I'm a 1 (in fat girl clothes). There is no standard for sizing and it ends up costing us, the consumer, more money.
Eh, if they fit and I can afford it who cares what the tag says. Every manufacturer seems to have their own "size chart". I gave up trying to figure it out and just go by the fit now.
I will admit, when I was in my mid-20s and really slim and fit into my first pair of size zero jeans it was sort of thrilling...
Now I can't even get that pair of pants past one of my knees, but I'll always have the memories :)
