Incredible, isn't it, that one human cared so little about a kitten that they dumped her for another person to care for. And other human cares so much they are flying her via airliner to a new home.

Thank you for the wonderful shout-out :) I like to think I've officially "adopted out" my first cat, but I don't know if it counts if I place them with family members. I only have one other sibling so I might not be able to pull this off very often.
Rory's name was changed to "Vegas", and she apparently survived the trip nicely and is already pestering her new cat housemates. I miss having her around, though -- kittens in the 4 week to 12 week stage are just so adorable and bouncy. Not that other ages aren't adorable, too, but after 12 weeks I've noticed that kittens start to lose their "big eyes, tiny head" proportions.
