Raphael is home!
Here is a cat who is very happy to be home. Raphael and Gabriel are the Ithaca cats who were lost during an automobile accident in New Jersey last July. Gabriel was found over a month later. Now Raphael is safe!
Nikki, Raphael's owner, reports that they just brought him home from New Jersey. He went from 14 lbs. to 7, but has no liver or kidney problems. "The vet said he should be fine with alot of rest and careful monitoring of his food so he doesn't eat too much in one meal. Poor baby had 60 ticks on him and I don't think he would have made it much longer outdoors."
Nikki emails that "The people who sighted him spent 2 1/2 weeks trappping until they caught him!...Thank you for your help, prayers and postive thoughts. This miracle would not have happened without you! - Raphael, Gabriel, Nikki, and James"
The true miracle was a set of owners who wouldn't give up on their lost friends even five months later. These are two lucky cats.

yay! Amazing.
That's a wonderful story. I can't imagine the horror of having a lost pet, and wondering what had happened to them.
Wow, that's FABULOUS! Hooray for Raphael and his patient folks!
Amazing story. Wish more turned out that way.
