Update: An anonymous woman donated money to pay the vet bill- bless her whomever she is! And the humane society is getting a lot of calls asking to adopt Hope, as they are calling the cat. She is apparently going to be fine.
I sincerely hope that more than half the folks who call and ask about Hope find it in their hearts to take another cat home.

Hooray for 'Hope'. I hope she gets adopted soon. :o)
