life, liberty, and the pursuit of loose cats
All of my critters' names start with a "C", except for a girl named Bob. She came to me already named as an adult semi-feral with 4 kittens -- Mom & babes all black. I tend to assume gray/black tabbies are boys - is that how your Girl Bob got a boy's name?
Girl Bob was so tiny when she arrived here, I peeked under her tail and mistakenly assumed she was a boy. "Bob" was a cute name given how tiny s/he was. Then of course one day she was walking away with her tail up and I went "uh oh!" and she became "Bob the Girl" and then later, Girl Bob. I've gotten so I check again closely before they go to the vet to be fixed, to avoid much laughter at my expense. Her new owner assures me she will get a new name.
Oh my. Girl Bob is just adorable!BTW, we recently had a cat adopted from PAWS named "Earl the Girl." I can't remember how she got this moniker, but yes, her name was Earl...
