Heading home

After a week in laid-back Key West, I notice no one seems to much care that the windows of the airport restaurant are sealed with duct tape. The food is good and the waitress calls me "Sweet Pea." A ringnecked dove is watching me through the window.

I could live here, spiders or no spiders. I'll keep it in mind when I'm truly tired of shoveling snow.

My sister lived in Key West for years, on a boat. She printed tee shirts in a little place that is still there. It has a sliding door that opens wide to the street.
I don't think you'd like it full time, it's pretty scary when a hurricane moves in. Though my sister loved it. We always worried about her when the weather was bad.

Great blog. Definitely a worthy effort (rescuing cats, that is)!
I work for a pet products company and we have a new cat toy. I was just wondering if I could send you a few of them to try out. The toy is the "Turbo Track" (try searching BERGAN TURBO TRACK it on YouTube...there should be a few videos of it). Anyway, if you're up for it, we'll send a few of them your way. Email me at . Thanks!
